Kouzina

Kouzina is the Greek word for “kitchen“ – a word that is universal and synonymous with homemade goodness. “Kouzina was an idea that would allow us to marry our desire to share our culture and many of the homemade recipes that we grew up enjoying with our friends and family“.

Gina Douvas is first generation Greek-American and her husband, Brian Herlihy was raised in an Italian-Irish family. Cooking and entertaining was a major part of their upbringing. Gina was influenced primarily by her mother’s cooking and baking and Brian learned all of his Italian recipes from his mother and grandfather.

Kouzina is in intimate market and café. Here you can find artisanal breads, cheeses such as Buratta, a semi-firm fresh mozzarella with a creamy center, imported from Italy and fresh feta in brine, Kalamata olives and proprietary olive oil from their family's olive groves in Patras, Greece-Pantelis Estates. Kouzina is a casual and inviting atmosphere – where you can share a cheese plate, sample the traditional Greek spreads, feast on souvlaki wrapped in warm pita, grilled octopus, moussaka or pastitsio, to name a few traditional dishes.

Baklava or galaktobouriko are a sweet finale to any meal. Come dine in a casual alfresco setting in our inviting courtyard. People watch or simply relax while you enjoy a frappe (iced coffee made the Greek way), a Greek Salad or a Greek yogurt with honey.
